3.) Format, division and what events/league: 3 and 5-man Novice/ Amateur/ doing Local and Regional Tournaments/ Series.
4.) Homefields: Swatpaintball Park, Ocean Springs, MS and our Private field Saucier, MS
5.) Years in existence: 2 Years and counting
6.) About Team Melee: We are in the process of continuing to form an extremely aggressive, competitive 3 and 5 man Novice team (or Am depending on player experience/skill) comprised of only experienced tournament players. Players greater than or equal to 16 years old preferred.
7.) Any special requirements:
*You are required to support yourself with paint, both for practices (1 case only-rest covered) and for tournaments (1 case only-rest covered) but all entry fees/ hotel fees to tournaments will be paid for by Team Melee.
*You must have the skill level and speed to keep up with a fast paced and aggressive team.
*You must not complain about doing drills or practices. Doing so will immediately get you cut at the discretion of the Team Captain and Owner of the team, regardless of your skill level and that is IF you make the team.
8.) Gear/ marker:
A high-end paintball marker is required and preferred. However, if you make the team and are under-performing ROF wise or any otherwise (marker related) and (at the descretion of the captain) you will not be asked, but will be required to purchase a marker that is competent for the competition we play in a reasonable amount of time.
9.) Practices:
*The team will practice at least twice per month, but sometimes every week. The practices will be held at the team practice field or scrimmages/ practice at different locations or other states which would let us practice/ scrimmage.
*You must be able to make the minimum required practice or have a good excuse.
*Transportation must be provided by you to practice and tournaments.
