You can see the oil cooler on the left and the tranny cooler on the right. The bracket is right in the middle..
Looking straight down from the engine compartment, you can see the filter location.
A closer view of the filter from the top of the engine bay.
Front view showing the mismatched screws. They will be replaced w/ stainless. C.B. shops carry the bracket..
Here you see the hose connecting to the cooler from the relocated oil filter.
Driverside front view of the installation. This spot was the perfect location for the setup.
Another view of the bracket with hose hooked up to the cooler.
Last view of the filter in its new location.
The black cooler is from a Mercedes Benz. I'll be using this soon.
A little cleanup and this'll work great for the Cavy.
Here is the cooler mounted to the new crash bar.
Another view of the installation to the crash bar.
Here, you see it installed on the car with the cooler hanging down in the opening.
Here's the first line that is run to the sandwich adaptor.
A more full view of the line going to the sandwich adaptor.
Here is where the line came out by the filter and sandwich adaptor.
Here you can see the second line run and hooked up to the Behr cooler.
On the other side of the radiator you can see the two lines coming together for the sandwich adaptor.
A full view of the lines run, the fuel pressure gauge relocation, and clean engine bay.
Here the sandwich adaptor plate is hooked up and lines are attached.
This kind of gives you an idea of what I had to do to make this all work. But work it does.
Motorcraft oil filter ftw. I love this filter for its durability and large size. Perfect fit too.
Another view of the great looking install. This will do for now and is fully functional.
A kind of an undercar view of the setup. No leaks, drips, or spills.
Final view of underhood. I got rid of the RSM strutbar as it was overkill anyway. More weight savings. :D
Here you see how the oil lines are run. No kinks, binds, or any problems with this setup. The Earls setup that'll be replacing this will be routed the same.
This is the first time trying to have an oil cooler installed.   The concept was there but not the sandwich adaptor that was needed to make this work.
I'm keeping it here because the concept was well thought out, planned, and excecuted.
Please look below for the actual oil cooler that is presently being used and with success.
